The results of the SAKE COMPETITION 2025, a competition to determine the best commercially available sake in Japan, were announced on June 10, 2025. Yuki no Matsushima KAI Hitomebore Junmai Genshu was selected as one of the top winning sakes (approximately 20%) in the Junmai Sake category (58 top prize winners/286 entries in the category), and Yuki no Matsushima KAI Gin no Iroha Jungin Genshu was selected as one of the top winning sakes (approximately 20%) in the Junmai Ginjo category (68 top prize winners/340 entries in the category), both of which received a BRONZE award.
